Revelation 19:17-21, "And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh."

BEAST AND FALSE PROPHET THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE
The whole earth and all peoples will be rallied against God. Peoples from all stations will rally in one cause to resist the Lord and His troops. The rich will fight alongside the poor and the slave alongside the free.
At the end of the battle only the beast from the sea and the false prophet will be taken alive and cast into the lake of fire. Remember that the beast from the sea is not only an empire, but the leader of that empire as well.
The rest who fight against the Lord will perish to be resurrected at the great white throne judgement after the thousand-year reign of Jesus. They and all those that did not know Jesus Christ will be judged in accordance with their works and anyone not found in the Lambs book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire.
Many come to me and say that they don't want to be in heaven when they know that many of their friends are suffering for an eternity. They say that God is mean spirited and so they turn from him for this very reason. The lake of fire is a place of eternal destruction. Being thrown into the lake of fire is known as the second death in Rev. 20:11-15 and even the memory of them thrown there will be wiped out.
The sad truth is that after the Great White Throne judgment and those not found worthy are cast into the lake of fire, God will remove even the memory of those people from the minds of them that accept the Lord. If God can take our sin and throw it into the sea of forgetfulness forever, then how difficult could it possibly be for him to do the same with our memories. God created everything from nothing and so inversely he can also religate something that once existed to nothingness.
