THE SEVEN TRUMPET WARNINGS
Revelation 8:5-6, " And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound."
The seven trumpets will be widespread natural disasters, cosmic in their scope. They are warnings of the wrath that is to come and they will affect a third of whatever they touch. They cannot and will not be ignored. The beast from the Sea will use the chaos that results from these natural disasters to solidify his power base on the earth in a suprisingly short time span of only three and a half years.
I was once at an amusement park and I decided to ride on the roller coaster. At the beginning of the ride the cars were slowly pulled up to the top of the highest point on the roller coaster. This is where the momentum for the rest of the ride would come from.
As we were slowly being pulled to the precipice there were signs along the way that read something like this. "It's not too late to get off." Or "You are halfway to the point of no return." Or "This is your last chance to change your mind." At the very top of the incline and before we plummeted down the other side there was one final sign. It read, "It's too late to change your mind. Just hold on and scream."
The seven trumpet warnings are like the signs that led up to that precipice. They are God's way of giving an indisputable wake up call to the world. They will ravage the entire earth, affecting one third of anything they touch. This is a manifestation of God's mercy. God is not willing that any should die but that all should have eternal life. John 3:15.
To add a little realism to the trumpet warnings I have created a scenario, which could possibly happen. It is but speculation but does fit the details of the seven trumpet warnings. This scenario will play out as you page through the seven trumpet warnings.
Revelation 8:7, "The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up."
FIRST TRUMPET
This storm of hail, fire and blood is described as being cast upon the earth. It is not limited to a specific geographical region. Since the storm is described as being cast upon the earth then it stands to reason that it came from a place other than the earth and it's ecosystem.
As the earth enters the cloud of cosmic debris mentioned at the sixth seal the smaller particles on the periphery of the cloud would burn up readily enough in our atmosphere. Even though the outside fringes of the cloud pose no serious threat to the earth and merely discolor the sun and moon, as you travel towards the center of the cloud it would contain larger particles which are mutually attracted to one another by gravitational interaction or magnetic forces. These particles would be arranged around a central nucleus much like the rings you see on the planets in the solar system only in three dimensions.
Eventually you would encounter particles that are too large to burn up in our atmosphere. These micrometeorites will crash through our atmosphere and impact the earth by the millions. The friction from their descent through the atmosphere would make them extremely hot and any plant life they came in contact with would catch on fire. It would appear almost exactly as if someone threw burning coals upon the earth.
The result of this warning will be that one third of the earth will be burned. One third of all trees will be burned and one third of all grass will be burned on a world-wide basis.
