Eventually one of the larger chunks of debris, an asteroid, is captured by the earth's gravitational pull and crashes into the ocean. If one were unfortunate enough to witness this event, the descending asteroid look very much like a blazing mountain.</div> <div>  </div> <div>  When the superheated rock contacts the cool waters of the ocean the asteroid will explode into microscopic particles. The mere concussion of the asteroid would kill anything for hundreds of miles. Since most asteroids are iron based the particles created would discolor the water turning it red. Wherever this polluted water touches all life in the ocean would be killed. </div> <bR> <div>  The impact of the asteroid would also cause a massive tidal wave that would destroy anything in its path. This mountain of water could be a mile high or more. It would crash against the continents and wash up in the mountain ranges that parallel most coastlines. Anything between the beach and the tops of the mountains would be killed. Large portions of inland valleys would fill with water creating great inland salt seas.</div> <bR> <div>  The results of this warning will be that one third of the sea will be turned to blood. One third of all sea life will die and one third of all ships will be destroyed on a world-wide basis.</div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
